PK Grills — Portable Kitchen — is a Little Rock, Arkansas company selling cast-aluminum charcoal grills, and the candidate list guessed it would land at the top mark. Its own site makes a domestic manufacturing claim in two places: the brand page says “We are based in Little Rock, AR and design and manufacture award-winning cast aluminum charcoal barbecue grills,” and the mission page says “we pour each cast aluminum PK by hand.”
Two things hold this at the fourth mark rather than a verified one.
The claim is not broken out by model, and the range is not uniform. Independent reporting (griddleking.com and others) places only the original cast-aluminum PK as US-poured and assembled in Little Rock, with the newer PK360, PKGO and New Original models produced in China. A blanket “we pour each PK by hand” cannot be reconciled with that, and the site does not carve out the exception the way a brand like Every Man Jack does.
And we have not independently confirmed which castings are poured where, only that the split is reported by third parties the catalogue will not cite as proof of a US mark. So: an American company making a real domestic claim about at least its flagship, with the rest of the range reported as imported and the split unverified from the company’s own pages. That is exactly what the fourth mark is for — anyone telling you flatly that every PK is American-made is going further than PK’s own site supports.
