Nalgene’s “Our Promise” page states plainly that nearly every bottle and container it sells is made in the USA, framing domestic manufacture as a way to avoid the carbon cost of international shipping. Its hard-sided bottles also carry a “Made in USA” stamp on the product itself.

The wording to respect is “nearly every.” The brand does not claim a 100% domestic catalogue, so the first mark is applied to the core bottle-and-container line the source describes rather than to every lid, cap, or licensed accessory. The page names the country but not the specific facility, so the manufacturing location is recorded at country level pending a more specific source.

A note on where this brand files. Until 2026-08-23 its only category here was baby-and-kids, which put the flagship 32 oz Wide Mouth — an adult hiking and camping bottle, described on its own product page as being for “outdoor sports like hiking, camping, and climbing” — in the children’s aisle for want of anywhere better. It now sits under sports-and-outdoors, alongside the packs and knives and sleeping bags. Baby-and-kids is kept as a second category because Nalgene really does run a dedicated kids line: the Grip-N-Gulp and On-The-Fly lock-top bottles and the 16 oz narrow-mouth prints.
