Liberty Tabletop is the consumer brand of Sherrill Manufacturing, which took over the flatware factory and equipment in Sherrill, New York after Oneida stopped making silverware there in 2005. It is the only company still manufacturing flatware in the United States, stamping and finishing 18/10 stainless steel patterns in the same Upstate New York plant that supplied the American table for more than a century.
The record rests on a named factory and an unbroken domestic manufacturing line rather than a marketing slogan. What the company does not publish is where the raw stainless coil is milled; it states only that it keeps the supply chain “as American-made as possible,” so the top mark reflects domestic fabrication with that one input left as an open question for the next check.
