Blueland’s model is a refill one: a reusable bottle or tin bought once, then topped up with cleaning tablets and powders. The company says its formulas are made in the U.S. and that it formulates all of its tablets and powder domestically, and — to its credit — it says on the same help page that the reusable Forever Bottle is designed in the United States and manufactured in China.

That disclosure is what sets the mark. The consumable a customer keeps buying is domestic by the company’s account; the durable vessel it goes into is imported, by the same account. Between the first mark and the second, the honest placement is the lower one: US-made refills paired with an imported bottle the brand is upfront about. The company’s consistent verb is “formulate” rather than “manufacture,” and the record is scoped to what that wording supports.
